  1. 2.3 ounces of blood

One of the most common deadly complication
of circumcision is hemorrhage. A baby only needs
to lose one ounce of blood to hemorrhage.
    And 2.3 ounces to die.
A newborn can lose this amount of blood very,
very quickly and a lot of times the bleeding
isn't noticed until it's too late.
